Graduated MD from Dalhousie University, Canada, then proceeded to pursue Doctor of General Surgery program in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. After completion, he underwent sub-speciality training in Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery, locally and in Taiwan. His special interest in minimally invasive procedures for HPB, specifically in liver surgery. His other interests includes nutrition therapy and perioperative medicine.
