Dr. Hari Sellappan is a Consultant General and Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic (HPB) Surgeon at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Sabah, Malaysia. A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, he has completed a HPB and Liver Transplant Fellowship with the Ministry of Health Malaysia and Post-CCT Fellowship at Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust, UK. Dr. Hari specializes in minimally invasive surgical techniques and is a vocal advocate for optimizing peri-operative care, enhanced recovery pathways and patient-centered outcomes. Beyond the operating theater, he is an avid researcher and educator with numerous contributions to peer-reviewed, indexed journals. His leadership in the surgical community includes serving as Vice President of the Malaysian Perioperative Medicine Society (MPOM) and as an Executive Committee member of the Malaysian Society of HPB Surgeons (MyHPBS).
