DrKong YongChong

Dr Chong Kong Yong is a Thoracic Surgeon at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. He completed his Thoracic Surgery Fellowship at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai Chest Hospital, with further advanced thoracoscopic training through regional Asia-Pacific programmes in Guangzhou leading Respiratory centre and South Korea. He has served as faculty and facilitator in VATS lobectomy, apical tumour surgery, Chest wall and pectus corrective surgery and chest tube workshops, with particular interest in minimally invasive thoracic surgery, lung cancer surgery and thoracic surgical education. He is currently involved in developing thoracic surgical services in Sabah.
