Dr. Izwan is a dedicated radiologist who is actively involved in both clinical practice and administrative responsibilities. Alongside his clinical work, he is committed to the academic development of junior radiology medical officers, providing teaching and mentorship for trainees in both the Master of Medicine (Radiology) and Parallel Pathway Radiology programs. His interest in thoracic radiology was developed during his specialty training at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), where he built a strong foundation in this subspecialty. With a keen interest in advancing thoracic imaging, Dr. Izwan is working to expand and strengthen thoracic imaging services in Sabah, with the goal of enhancing diagnostic capabilities and improving patient care throughout the region.
