Dr Nadarajan Chandran
Dr. Chandran Nadarajan is a Consultant Clinical and Interventional Radiologist at Gleneagles Hospital Kota Kinabalu, with a practice focused on vascular and oncologic intervention and image-guided procedures. He holds academic affiliations with Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM and has been actively involved in postgraduate and clinical teaching alongside his hospital practice. His research portfolio spans deep learning applications in image-guided diagnosis, hepatic and oncologic intervention, vascular disease, and multidisciplinary clinical studies, with grant-funded work carried out in collaboration with local and international institutions. He has authored and co-authored a sustained body of peer-reviewed work in interventional radiology, oncologic and vascular intervention, and machine learning in imaging, with publication activity continuing through 2026, and has presented at national and international forums including MCOR and RSNA. Dr. Chandran has served in leadership and advisory roles within the specialty, including as Chairperson of the East Coast Society of Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology (ECSNIR, 2019–2022), Council Member of the Malaysian Society of Interventional Radiology and the Malaysian Neurointerventional Society and as a committee member of the Human Research Ethics Committee of USM. He is a regular invited speaker and faculty member at national and regional interventional radiology meetings, including APSCVIR and the APAC Vascular Masterclass.
