Prof DrShahrun Niza Abdullah Suhaimi

Prof. Madya Dr. Shahrun Niza Abdullah Suhaimi is an Associate Professor, Consultant General Surgeon, and Breast & Endocrine Surgeon at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He obtained his MBBS from the University of Malaya in 1997, a Master of Surgery from UKM in 2004, and a Fellowship in Endocrine Surgery from Nippon Medical School, Tokyo, Japan, in 2011. He currently serves as the Head of the Department of Surgery, UKM. His clinical expertise includes breast surgery, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, endocrine surgery, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Prof. Madya Dr. Shahrun is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate surgical education, clinical research, and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in breast and endocrine surgery. He is widely recognized for his contributions to advancing surgical practice, research, and specialist training in Malaysia.
