DrHo Shiaw Hooi

Dr Ho Shiaw Hooi is a consultant gastroenterologist and physician at Hospital Picaso, Malaysia. He is also a visiting consultant to Universiti Malaya Medical Centre. Dr Ho is a Faculty Member of Asian Novel Bio-Imaging & Intervention Group (ANBIIG), Councillor of Asian-Pacific Society for Digestive Endoscopy (APSDE), Fellow of the Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society (JGES) and International Advisor of Advances in Digestive Medicine (AIDM). He has served as Associate Editor of BioMed Central (BMC) Gastroenterology (2017-2026), Committee Member (2019–2021) of the Malaysian Society of Gastroenterology & Hepatology (MSGH), Associate Professor of Medicine (2017-2025) at Universiti Malaya (UM) and Director (2020-2024) of the Combined Endoscopy Unit at UM Medical Centre (UMMC). He was also appointed as Visiting Assistant Professor to Kyushu University, Japan (2016) and Visiting Professor to Lanzhou University, China (2023) respectively.
